Lyle's Black Treacle is much the same as molasses or unrefined sugar syrup. Great for flavorings, cooking or baking, where you need that strong molasses toffee like taste. Can also be used in the home brewing process to darken beer.
Lyle's Black Treacle® adds a distinctive rich, dark flavour to traditional recipes like Christmas pudding, parkin, treacle toffee and gingerbread. It also tastes great in savoury foods, try it as a glaze for salmon.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Cans beyond the best before date must be discarded as pressure may have built up in storage.
